Curriculum

At The Early Childhood Center we encourage each child to grow to his/her fullest potential by providing a developmentally appropriate curriculum. Research shows that children learn best through play and “hands on” experiences in an environment rich with learning opportunities. At ECC we provide play and learning experiences that will promote each child’s physical, social, emotional and intellectual development. Learning skills are acquired that will help prepare your child for the challenges of kindergarten, first grade and beyond through block building, dramatic play, the use of manipulatives, water and sand play, arts and crafts, music, cooking, science and discovery and language arts.  Staff has been fully trained in the Creative Curriculum.
