Our Professional and Nurturing Staff

Our Director is a certified teacher with over twelve years of early childhood administrative experience. The majority of our lead teachers have either an M.A. or B.A. in early childhood education. Our assistant teachers come to us with experience in working with young children and have earned a B.A., an A.A., a C.D.A. (Child Development Associate), or have college credits in education. We take pride in our low staff turnover; some of our teachers have been with us for over twenty years. All staff members are required to complete a minimum of 15 hours of training annually in nine designated areas of early childhood development. Every staff member has been trained and certified in CPR and First Aid. Over a third of our staff have also been trained and certified in Medical Administration, authorizing them to administer medication should the need arise. This Medical Administration training makes it possible for us to welcome children to our program who have mild to severe food allergies and/or asthma.
