Summer Camp

Seven weeks of fun in the sun—and sprinklers—await ECC kids over the summer.

ECC students as well as children from the surrounding communities attend our 7-week camp program, which includes plenty of time outdoors, playing on the playground, at the water tables, and in the sprinklers, as well as indoor fun, enjoying games and activities in our spacious, air-conditioned classrooms and indoor play space. Each week of camp is designed around a theme, such as "Let's Hit the Beach", "A-Camping We Will Go", and "Summer Camp Olympics." Our camp is staffed by ECC teachers and a select group of college students who are studying child development.

If your child is just beginning the Twos in September, summer camp is a fun way to introduce them to a school schedule and at the same time help them get to know her their teachers. Experience has shown us that children who attend camp have a much easier time making the transition to school in September, which eases the stress on both child and parent alike.

The ECC also offers a program geared specifically towards older 4-year-old and 5-year-olds, with a focus on learning through play and preparing for Kindergarten.

Camp runs from early June until the end of July. The day begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 12 p.m, with the option to have their child stay for lunch until 1 p.m. or afternoon Creative Kids enrichment until 3 p.m.  Before Camp, from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. in available for the entire camp session, with After Camp, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., available in the month of June. (Please note: This varies for the Twos program.)
